RR Policy 0-9 - Employee Code of Conduct
Purpose: Our Employee Code of Conduct company policy outlines our expectations regarding employees’ behaviour towards their colleagues, supervisors, clients, and the overall organization. We promote freedom of expression and open communication. However, we expect all employees to follow our code of conduct. They should avoid offending others and participating in serious disputes or otherwise disrupting our workplace. We also expect them to foster a well-organized, respectful, and collaborative environment. This policy applies to all our employees regardless of employment agreement or rank.
Process: Red Road Health Solutions’ employees are bound by both their contract and this document to follow our Employee Code of Conduct while performing their duties. We outline the components of our Code of Conduct below:
Compliance with law
All employees must protect Red Road Health Solutions’ legality. They should comply with all regulatory, safety, and patient information confidentiality laws, as applicable, both in India and in the country of our clients’ businesses. We expect employees to be ethical and responsible when dealing with our company’s finances, services, clients, partnerships, protected information, and public image.
Respect in the workplace
All employees should respect their colleagues. We will not allow any kind of discriminatory behaviour, harassment, or victimization. Reports of any discriminatory behaviour or harassment will be taken seriously. If you are discriminated against or harassed, you should report it to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
Protection of Company Property
All employees should treat Red Road Health Solutions’ property, whether material or intangible, with respect and care.
Employees:
Should not misuse any company equipment (i.e., computers, coffee machines, etc.) or use it frivolously.
Should respect all kinds of intellectual property. This includes trademarks, copyright, and other property (information, reports etc.) Employees should use them only to complete their job duties.
Employees should protect company facilities and other material property from damage and vandalism, whenever possible, without risking harm to themselves or others.

All employees must show integrity and professionalism in the workplace:
Personal appearance
All employees must follow our dress code and personal appearance guidelines.
Maintaining a professional, business like appearance is very important to the success of Red Road Health Solutions
Regardless of the employee’s interaction with clients, customers, suppliers, contractors, or volunteers, each employee projects the reputation of the organization. Part of this impression depends on each employee’s choice of dress.
Red Road Health Solutions has chosen to offer a professional dress environment for employees. Employees are expected to use good judgment and to show courtesy to their co-workers by dressing in a manner that is presentable and appropriate. At all times employees are asked to be cognizant that regardless of their interaction with clients, contractors, etc Red Road Health Solutions is still a place of business.
Should employees be asked to attend business meetings with clients, either in Red Road Health Solutions offices or otherwise, they should dress in appropriate business attire.
Corruption
We discourage employees from accepting gifts from clients or partners. We prohibit briberies for the benefit of any external or internal party.
Job duties and authority
All employees should fulfil their job duties with integrity and respect toward clients, colleagues, stakeholders, and the community. Supervisors and managers must not abuse their authority. We expect them to delegate duties to their team members considering their competencies and workload. Likewise, we expect team members to follow team leaders’ instructions and complete their duties with skill and in a timely manner. We also expect Team Leaders and Supervisors to have an “all hands-on deck” attitude, helping and supporting their direct reports and hold themselves accountable for the successes and failures of their teams.
We encourage mentoring and employee’s pursuit of their professional development throughout their time with Red Road Health Solutions.
Absenteeism and tardiness
Employees should follow their assigned work schedules. We can make exceptions for occasions that prevent employees from following their assigned working hour’s day, with notification to and approval by the proper supervisor. But generally, we expect employees to be punctual when reporting for and leaving from work.
Conflict of interest
We expect employees to avoid any personal, financial, or other interests that might hinder their capability or willingness to perform their job duties.
Collaboration
Employees should be friendly, transparent, respectful, and collaborative. They should try not to disrupt the workplace or present obstacles to their colleagues’ work. They should not gossip or spread negative and/or false or unfounded information about colleagues, supervisors, partners, or clients of Red Road Health Solutions.
Communication
All employees must be open for two-way communication with their colleagues, supervisors, or team members. This communication may include positive, collaborative, and/or developmental feedback.
Benefits
We expect employees to not abuse their employment benefits. This can refer to time off, insurance, facilities, gifts, or other benefits that Red Road Health Solutions offers.
Policies
All employees should read and adhere to our company policies. If they have any questions or have concerns that the policies are not being followed, they should speak with their managers or Human Resources (HR).
Disciplinary actions
Red Road Health Solutions may have to take disciplinary action against employees who repeatedly or intentionally fail to follow our code of conduct. Disciplinary actions will vary depending on the violation.
Possible consequences include, but are not limited to:
Demotion.
Reprimand.
Suspension or termination for more serious offenses.
Detraction of applicable benefits for a definite or indefinite time.
